Shakeology Protein Balls

 

My first recipe I am sharing is one of my all. time. favorite Shakeology recipes and after workout protein snacks. I workout at night most times, and usually after dinner. Regardless, it is essential to have whole food or liquid protein after your workout to enhance muscle synthesis. Shakeology is the PERFECT option for this.

 

Shakeology Protein Balls

Perfect for after workout or morning snack

Serves: 8 balls
Ingredients

  • 1 cup of peanut butter OR almond butter
  • 1 cup of old fashioned oats
  • ¼-1/2 cup of honey or agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons of Shakeology (I use Vanilla, but chocolate may be good too!)
  • ⅓ cup of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, etc

Instructions

  1. In a small bow, combine all ingredients and stir together.
  2. On wax paper, form golf ball size balls
  3. Let set up for 2-4 hours.
  4. I place mine in ziploc bag in fridge
  5. You are set for the week!
